We're excited to share that the Artcrush team is expanding with the addition of three new interns!

Joining us are three business students: Trina from Nantes with Filipino roots, Marie hailing from Marseille and Jeanne representing Belgium.

TRINA
Operations Intern

Who are you? I am Trina and I am originally from the Philippines, but I am currently studying in France for my bachelor's.

Why did you join Artcrush? I always loved art and once I attended the “Bright Festival” here in Brussels, which is a beautiful exposition of lights in the city, the experience not only made me fall in love with the city but also realize the variety of mediums to present art, wherein it can involve the use of all senses. This is the reason why I joined Artcrush, to also provide that experience to others.

Who is your favorite artist/ what is your favorite art style? My favorite artist is the classic Clause Monet, because of his use of movement and emotion you can feel in his pieces. My favorite work of his is the “rising sun” which reflects the feeling of tranquility.

Tell us about your most artistic experience! I once made a homemade hanging picture frame and photo collage all in one with cardboard, plastics, and colorful paper I just found in my house

MARIE
Marketing Intern

Who are you? Hi! My name is Marie and I am a new intern at Artcrush in the marketing team :) I am 21 years old and I am from France.

Why did you join Artcrush? The environment in which I evolve is deeply important to me. During my calls with the team, they showed me how the human aspects are important to them. They are looking for talented and creative people who will bring an honest vision to their work. Moreover, Artcrush cherishes some of my most important values: sharing, creativity, and open-mindedness. Finally, working within the art industry was a dream for me.

Who is your favorite artist/ what is your favorite art style? I love the work of Russian artist Dimitry Martovsky. His art is very singular and resonates with me a lot. I love the deco patch patterns he uses in some of his works and the colors he uses in others. One of my favorites is "Broken Cloud" which can be found in our website.

Tell us about your most artistic experience! I did a song :) From writing lyrics to creating a melody, recording in a studio, and doing some arrangements with some friends. I created my very first song 2 years ago. It’s called "Only The Truth" and it’s available on SoundCloud!

JEANNE
Marketing Intern

Who are you? I just joined the Artcrush marketing team as an intern.

Why did you decide to join Artcrush? I've always been very attracted to art and culture. I love the fact that Artcrush makes art accessible to everyone. I'm convinced that art is essential in the world and is one of the most beautiful ways of expressing oneself and showing one's identity.

Who is your favorite artist/ what is your favorite art style? My favorite type of art is portrait photography. I don't have a favorite photographer, because I like the fact that each photographer has a particular vision.

Tell us about your most artistic experience! When I was little, I often went to a hangar near my home where there were only artists. I've always said to myself "One day I'll be here too, creating my projects".
